The Entropy Rope Bag was designed for Tactical and Search & Rescue personnel needing and efficient transport and deployment platform for small diameter ropes. Modeled after ARS larger Breakout Rope Bag, the Entropy Rope Bag provides the operator access to both ends of the rope or the middle by opening fully at each end or splitting long ways down the center of the bag, providing endless options for rigging, rope deployment, and mobility. Details
For transport, the Entropy Bag comes with two utility straps, one short for Thigh/Leg mounting and one long for Shoulder/Fanny Pack mounting. These straps can be used in conjunction with the loops on the back of the bag to facilitate the various carry options.
The end flaps create a pocket that can be used for stowing rope ends, equipment, or the flaps themselves, while being adjustable to expand or contract the bag depending on the volume of rope inside.
The Entropy Bag holds an average length of the following rope sizes, dependent upon manufacturer:
- 11mm - 100'
- 9.5mm - 150'
- 8mm - 200' (NAR 8mm HAVOC 150')
